How to Add a Custom Token in KriptoK

Why Isn’t a Token Showing in KriptoK?

KriptoK automatically displays common tokens across supported chains. But if you hold a lesser-known, newly launched, or niche token, it may not appear automatically. In that case, you can add it manually.

How to Add It

Step 1: On the KriptoK home screen, tap the filter/settings icon (funnel icon) in the top right corner.

Step 2: On the Manage Assets screen that opens, tap the + (plus) button in the top right corner.

Step 3: Enter the following information:

  • Network: Select which chain the token is on (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, etc.)
  • Token Address (Contract Address): The token’s contract address on the blockchain. Find this on the token’s official website, CoinGecko, or CoinMarketCap.
  • Token Name: The token’s name (may auto-fill once the contract address is entered)
  • Symbol: The short ticker (like USDT, ETH)

Step 4: Verify the details and tap Import. The token will now appear in your asset list.

Important: Select the Right Network

The same token can have different contract addresses on different chains. For example, USDC on Ethereum has a different address than USDC on Polygon. Make sure you select the correct network for where you want to see the token.

Where to Find the Contract Address

  • The token’s official website
  • CoinGecko.com - in the “Contract” section on the token’s page
  • CoinMarketCap.com - same
  • Blockchain explorer (Etherscan, BscScan, Polygonscan, etc.)

Warning: Only get the contract address from trusted sources. Scam tokens can have names similar to real ones but use a different address.

After Adding the Token

The token is added to your asset list. If you hold that token, the balance will appear automatically. If it doesn’t, double-check that you’re on the right network with the right address.
